Javarris Jamiel Williams (born April 8, 1986 in Richmond, Texas) is an American football running back for the Houston Texans of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Chiefs in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at Tennessee State.[1] He played high school football at Foster High School in Richmond Texas. Williams spent the 2009 pre-season as a member of the Chiefs before being released.[2] Williams was promoted to the active roster on December 5, 2009 due to the season-ending knee injury suffered by Kolby Smith.
On August 12, 2011, the Houston Texans signed Javarris Williams.
